A denture is a removable appliance designed to replace missing teeth.

Dentures are either made of metal (cobalt chrome) or acrylic resin, and there are advantages and disadvantages to both of these types. Dentures are either complete (made when someone is missing all of their upper or lower teeth) or partial (one or several teeth missing).
